Students Build Small Satellite for PSLV

This is the first all-women initiative to design a satellite in India. It will measure UV rays in space, Earth's surface to study their temperature influence.

Students at Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Technology for Women are building a small nanosatellite weighing 1 kg to be put onboard a Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle of the Indian Space Research Organisation later this year. The project is undertaken by the Space Club of the college.
