How to Spot Eating Disorders at a Young Age

The irresistible urge to eat at the sight, smell and taste of food at the age of 4 or 5 may be a precursor to developing eating disorders in teenage years.

An enthusiastic response to food in early childhood may be linked to a higher likelihood of experiencing eating disorder symptoms in adolescence according to a new study by researchers at University College London and Erasmus University, Rotterdam.The findings are based on an analysis of 3760 young people in the UK and the Netherlands.
