Abolish Investiture Ceremonies in School

Investiture ceremonies in schools may be scrapped, as those eliminated may possess leadership qualities in other areas. Teachers often fail to recognise it.

As a principal, I’ve attended countless investiture ceremonies. These are grand events where we appoint head boys, head girls, house captains, cultural leaders, and prefects. There’s always a rigorous process behind these selections, layers upon layers of competition, until one child emerges as the chosen leader.
