India strengthens its position in the QS World University Rankings 2027, signalling its emergence as a global higher education destination.
As per the QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) World University Rankings – 2027, India emerged as a potential hub for higher education for native and overseas students. Out of 1500 global Universities rated for the rankings, 52 are from India. It was 46 in 2025 and 54 in 2026.
