Teachers have to transform from mere dispenser of knowledge to provide emotional support and guidance for children. They should also integrate technology in their teaching practices and keep updated with latest pedagogy for engaging children. Various activities such as Kahoot quizzes, discussions, debates and projects may help in ensuring the active involvement of students.
