University of Liverpool Maths School announces 2nd recruitment round

The new University of Liverpool Maths School is launching a second round of recruitment for September 2020 entry, with an aptitude test and interviews planned for March.The first cohort of prospective students, consisting of 14 boys and 13 girls, have already undertaken the aptitude test which covered everything from algebra to painted cubes. Students who took the exam will now attend an informal discussion in the coming weeks to further explore if the Maths School is the right sixth form for them. All places are conditional on students achieving agreed grades in their GCSEs.Due to continued interest, a second aptitude test for entry 2020 will take place in March 2020.
