UPPSC lecturer recruitment exam extended due to Lok Sabha polls 2019

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has revised the dates of the Government Degree College Examination2017 due to the Lok Sabha elections 2019.

The Government Degree College Exam is conducted by the UPPSC for recruiting lecturers in government degree colleges. The state Commission decided to change the lecturers recruitment exam dates as the earlier date was coinciding with polling for the seventh phase of general elections 2019. Earlier the exam was scheduled to be conducted on May 19, however, as per the revised dates, the same examination will now be held on July 28.

The examination was to be held in examination centre's in Lucknow and Allahabad."The seventh phase of the parliamentary elections will be held on May 19. Hence, the commission decided to revise the exam schedule," said UPPSC examination controller, Anju Katiyar.
