UP to Have Motivational Schools

The Uttar Pradesh Government aims to have one motivational school in each district under the ‘Prerak Mission intended to change the image of government primary schools. The ‘Prerak Mission’ will be run in every primary school and learning outcomes of children will be evaluated by a third party institution and one school will be chosen as the Motivational School of the district. The intention is to convert every primary school into motivational school. ‘Prerana Gyanotsav Abhiyan’ has been launched to increase the skills of children in mathematics and languages. The ‘Prerak’ campaign is intended to improve the basic learning skills of children and will also increase the learning efficiency of students who were affected by lockdown. The teachers are expected to check the skills of the students at certain points, under which, the efficiency of students from classes I to III will be identified on 14 points and classes IV and V on 16 parameters.
