Three Indian Institutions in Top 200 of QS World University Rankings
Three higher education institutions from India have come within the QS World University Rankings for 2022. They are IIT Bombay (177), IIT Delhi (185) and Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru (186). Mr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Union Minister of Education said that India is emerging as the Vishvaguru of the world and taking a leap in the field of Education and Research. The Minister further said that the initiatives such as National Education Policy – 2020 and Institute of Eminence are instrumental in ranking our colleges and institutes globally. This can be felt by looking at the university rankings declared by QS & Times Group, he added.
