Science film production

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune, will organise a workshop on Science Film Production from July 3 to 9, 2019. It will be conducted by filmmaker Hari M. Mohanan who had made a Malayalam documentary 'Invisible wings' in 2015, which won the Best Short Film award in the Non-Fiction category at the 2018 Filmfare awards. The key highlights of the workshop will include Dimension of a story; Exploring story dimension with real character; Creating narrative style; Stages in film production; and Hands- on session on film making. Undergraduates and graduates who are passionately interested in film production and are looking forward to build their career in it will be eligible. The programme is supported by National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), Department of Science and Technology (DST).
