Qualities of a Good Class Leader

Leadership Instincts

Being a class leader is something that increases the confidence in a child. Managing a class of 40-50 students, is not an easy task. Skills like leadership, compassion, pro activeness etc will be rooted in the child while handling such roles. 

Here are some of the qualities needed for a class leader:

*Quick Memory:

The leader should know the name of all the students in the class. And also, their immediate friends and the location from where that student is coming. In short, the leader should be aware of the basic information about each student.


*Always positive:

A leader should never shy away from anything. He should be the leader, the one who leads from the front. he/she should be always ready to talk to any student, without any bias.

*The one who takes initiative:

A leader should be the first one to voluntarily come forward. Whenever there Are games to be played or a surprise is to be planned, the leader should be the one take initial steps to make plans and should encourage everyone to join.


*Good sense of humour: 

To make a stressful classroom environment relaxed, it is good for the leader to have good sense of humour.

*Decision making:

The leader should listen to all, and take an ideal decision.


*Confidence:

To address a class full of students, the leader should be confident. He/she should be trustworthy too, as the students must feel approachable and reliable.
