Prof Anil Seth to head Azrieli Program

Renowned neuro-scientist academic at The University of Sussex has been chosen as co-director of Azrieli program in Brain, Mind, and Consciousness at CIFAR (formerly Canadian Institute for Advanced Research. He received public attention with his TED talk which has more than nine million views and also named Highly Cited Researcher. He is also the co-director of Sackler Centre for Consciousness Science. The Azrieli Brain, Mind and Consciousness program is developing a multi-disciplinary framework attracting scholars from genetics, neuroscience, artificial intelligence and philosophy to study how our brains give rise to consciousness and our unique perspective on the world around us.
