OPPO Does VoNR Calls with 5G

Technology Inceptions

OPPO has successfully conducted voice and video calls solely based on the next generation 5 G network in partnership with Ericsson and MediaTek.  Called Voice/Video on New Radio calls, the service relies exclusively on the 5 G network (SA architecture).  It provides significantly low latency, greatly improved sound quality and picture quality. OPPO aims to joint other partners to accelerate large-scale commercialization of 5G. The service enables two phones connected almost instantly and then seamlessly switched to a high-definition video call with a single key press.
