NISHTHA- an Integrated Teacher Training Program

NISHTHA – National Initiative for School Heads and Teachers Holistic Advancement was launched by the Department of School Education and Literacy for the National Mission to improve learning outcomes at the Elementary level.  It comes under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Samagra Shiksha. The teacher training modules of NISHTHA have been aligned with the recommendations of NEP 2020. It has also invited suggestions from teachers on implementing NEP 2020. NISHTHA is the world's largest teachers' training program of its kind. The basic objective of this massive training program is to motivate and equip teachers to encourage and foster critical thinking in students.
