Karnataka Colleges to Get Desktop PCs

Karnataka Government first grade colleges will be provided with 12,500 debonded desktop PCs as part of the Help Educate, a public-private initiative undertaken by the Department of Collegiate and Technical Education (DCTE). A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in this regard by Cognizant Technology Solutions India, the Rotary Club and DCTE. The Help Educate initiative is intended to partner with MNCs and philanthropists to educate and train students for employment, train professors in modern methodology through faculty development programmes and digital teaching. The colleges will be able to set up computer labs and for use by students.
