Indian Painters to Get Scholarship in Dublin

International Edu News

Dublin: Aiming to encourage emerging artists in India, an international aircraft leasing company, Avolon, is offering two Indian painters to work at Dublin in Ireland. The two chosen painters will be given their own studio and an apartment in the heart of Dublin along with a monthly stipend. The artists will also get to showcase their final work, which should broadly depict the theme of ‘Humanity’.

The programme will also help them experience Ireland’s art and culture climate, where there is a historical legacy of fine arts, with a rich emphasis on portrait paintings. In the last two years, artists from Mexico and Iran won the scholarships.
