Grant support for Diverse authors by MIT

Keeping the big vision of bringing honor to diversity, Massachusetts Institute of Technology has announced the launch of Grant Program of Diverse Voices. This program focuses on funding the authors through direct financial support. This shall serve as a great motivation for the people who have the art of writing skill to come up with new books and for the existing authors this shall be an inspiration to start working on new ones. The initiative will expand funding for new work by authors whose voices have been excluded and underrepresented across the arts, humanities, and sciences. One of the first programs of its kind at an academic press, the Fund for Diverse Voices also enables the MIT Press to offer competitive advances to talented authors, cover the cost of high-quality production features, hire developmental editors, and ensure that these works reach the widest readership possible.
