Girls and Boys Equal in Maths

Girls and
Boys have equal abilities when it comes to learning maths, according to a new
research done by Jessica Cantlon at Carnegie Mellon University. The research
team comprehensively examined the brain development of young boys and girls.
Cantlon and her team did the first neuro imaging study to evaluate biological
gender differences in math aptitude among young children. Functional MRI was
used to measure the brain activity in 104 young children aged 3 to 10 years of
which 55 were girls. The brain activity was observed while they were watching
an educational video covering early math topics like counting and addition. With
