Emotional Tears Boost Immunity

Emotional tears unlike tears caused by irritants can assist our immune system, according to researchers at Macquarie University. Emotional tears may include higher levels of adrenocorticotropic hormones (linked to stress), prolactin (linked to maternal behavior) and pain killer called leucine enkephalin.
