Eco-friendly tableware made of leaves

Science Innovations

The German company, Leafy Republic, is producing organic and biodegradable packaging for European customers using their innovative concept.

The product varieties include plates, trays, bowls and dip bowls using traditional siali and sal leaves imported from India.

The three layer natural one-way dishes are made of leaves, water-proof leaf-made paper and leaves respectively. Food packaging will include a lid made of bioplastic. The bowl is bio degradable in 28 days.

Specialities include no usage of synthetic additives, colouring or glues.
