Delhi Says No to Online Classes in Vacation

Private schools in Delhi have been directed by the Delhi Government not to teach online during summer vacation from April 20 to June 9. The directive was issued as it came to notice of the Directorate of Education that regular online teaching was taking place in schools even in summer vacation time. But schools were allowed to run vacation related specific activities, remedial classes for specific set of students, other activities for creativity, happiness and overall social and emotional well being. The government said teachers and students deserved a break after continuous online classes so that they can resume classes energetically after vacation.
