Are you Working/ Studying During Off Hours?

Despite the emphatic assertion that working continuously for long hours can do harm to employees, many professionals still struggle to overcome the issue regarding time constraints. The unhealthy practice of working/ studying too long affects the brain and is there a solution to reach a more rewarding and sustainable work-life balance? When the nature of the job or the discipline of the study is more demanding, chaotic and exhausting, working for long hours for success becomes a priority.

In research conducted at Cornell University, it is found that working a nontraditional schedule, and checking in at all hours of the day, night, and weekends is not necessarily beneficial for the 21st-century workforce. The research explains that even if you're still working 40 hours a week, you're working during the time that you've mentally encoded as time off, or as the time that should be for a vacation, and that can make you feel suddenly that your work is less enjoyable, and, it undermines intrinsic motivation.
