The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the introduction of Artificial Intelligence, Design Thinking and Physical Activity Trainer in Class 11 from 2020-21 academic years. Critical thinking and problem solving are critical skills for the 21st century while Physical Activity Trainer will not only develop the skills of a trainer but also a life skill. Design Thinking is a systematic process of thinking that opens up the horizons of creativity and enables even the most conditioned thinkers to bring about new and innovative solutions to the problems at hand, according to Biswajit Saha, Director Training and Skill Education at CBSE.
